Did you know that October 26th is Lights On Afterschool day? Lights on Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families, and communities. The effort has become a hallmark of the afterschool movement and generates media coverage across the country each year. Let’s celebrate together! You can hold an event, advocate, hold a social media campaign, talk with your community, or simply post flyers around. Whatever you decide to do, we applaud your efforts in supporting afterschool! Register your event with Afterschool Alliance today and receive a free event starter kit. |
