 The mission of Family Scholar House is to end the cycle of poverty and transform our community by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve life-long self-sufficiency. They provide services for participants BEFORE they even enroll into school all the way through graduation. They can help them discover a major (through YouScience), find a school with that major, and help them with the application process. Family Scholar House helps participants access financial assistance to pay for classes and books s well. They cannot do all of the work themselves so they are always seeking out partner organizations in which they can refer participants to including childcare, financial stability, workforce development and housing. They are specifically looking for organizations who can assist with early childhood childcare to assist parents that are attending school fulltime.
